Paul Garvey

Paul Garvey

Registered Physiotherapist, Founder


Paul founded Kings Cross Physio with Steve in 1992 and has spent the last 23 years ensuring that his clinic, his staff, and his patients are all happy, healthy, and laughing. He is known for his British accent, his love of cheese, and his patience (acquired while coaching many a years of girls’ soccer… or “football”).

Registered Physiotherapist, Founder


Steve founded Kings Cross Physio with Paul in 1992 and has since worked hard to establish a solid and reputable environment for clients and staff alike. He is known for his diligence, his taste for craft beer, and his professional soccer career. He does not like having his photo taken (despite being quite handsome).

Sandy Watson

Sandy Watson

Registered Physiotherapist


Sandy is a Kings Cross veteran, having been with us since 1994. She recently took a part time position to spend more time with her family, continue her post-graduate education, and to enjoy some time at the cottage. Her smile always brightens even the cloudiest of our days and she makes every patient feel comfortable. Her specialty is in orthopaedics, yet her expertise range far and wide.

Registered Massage Therapist


Nida recently joined Kings Cross in 2011 and is full of energy. She has helped people in geriatrics, sports, and local community clinics through massage therapy. Her special interests include oncology, rehabilitation, and pregnancy massage.

Danielle is always in high spirits and keeps us all giggling here at the clinic. An avid skiier and cyclist, Danielle specializes in concussive, vestibular, and shoulder injuries. She works well with everyone, especially kids… skills she accumulated from many years directing summer camps and teaching skiing!

Emma is a bubbly sports enthusiast whose specialty is in sports rehabilitation, particularly in soccer players. When Emma’s not working, playing soccer, hiking, snowboarding, or taking photos, she sometimes plays the bag pipes… but not at work (thankfully)!!!

Patty is also a Kings Cross veteran having been with us since 1995. Her specialty is in orthopaedic and sports injuries, specifically muscle imbalance problems and post-partum rehabilitation. She speaks English, Spanish, and French. She’s also trained in equine physiotherapy, so be sure to bring your horse with you for your next appointment (just kidding)!

Luca is our newest addition and is proving to be an incredible asset at Kings Cross. He just graduated from UofT last year and is now undertaking his clinical placement with us. His special interest is in sports rehabilitation, yet he has worked with a wide variety of conditions including cardiovascular, neurological, and orthopaedic injuries.

Heather Johnston

Registered Massage Therapist


Heather helps soothe our bodies and souls as she’s a massage therapist and a level I Reiki! She has extensive experience in treating patients with athletic injuries, motor vehicle accident victims and post-cancer treatment patients. She loves to stay active by skiing, long distance running, triathlons, and dragon boat racing.
